Sarah Chehade

“The beauty of mathematics only shows itself to more patient followers.” — Maryam Mirzakhani.

Hello! My name is Sarah Chehade (pronounced she-ha-de). I am a mathematician at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga's Quantum Center. I currently work on problems at the intersection of mathematics, quantum computing, and quantum information theory. Prior to this appointment, I was a postdoctoral research associate at Oak Ridge National Laboratory for 3 years working on similar topics. I obtained my Ph. D. in mathematics from the University of Houston in 2021 focusing on quantum information theory.

Away from arXiv or LaTeX, I’m usually chasing my kid or cooking. (If I wasn't a mathematician, I'd be a professional chef.) Sleep is aspirational.
